Inter Miami face FC Dallas in the Leagues Cup Round of 16 on Sunday and Lionel Messi will return to Texas, a state where he has previously played four matches, three with Argentina between 2015 and 2016 and one with FC Barcelona in 2006.

Messi’s matches in Texas

Of the four matches Messi has played in Texas, he has won two and drew two. His first match in Texas took place on August 10, 2006. On that occasion, Barcelona drew 4-4 with Mexico’s América at Reliant Stadium, but Messi failed to get on the score sheet.

Argentina travel to US
